Let's look ahead.

FUEL the Pride Mission Statement

FUEL the Pride is an opportunity for students to learn and discuss LGBTQ and APIA issues in a safe and interactive environment. By gaining a deeper understanding of the intersections of queer and APIA issues, and forging between multiple diverse communities, students will be empowered to become strong leaders in the community. This year, F.U.E.L. fosters support and brings visibility to the queer APIA community and its collaborations with allies and activists.

A senior in the Robert H. Smith of business, you can find him studying all over Van Munching, working at Ten Rens, cheering for his beloved Maryland Terrapins, or just wandering around campus for no good reason. A strong proponent of diversity and inclusion, Shuxin envisions a campus where everyone, regardless of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, feel safe and welcomed. Part of last year's FUEL committee, Shuxin is back to make the conference better than ever.
