Kumudha Kumarachandran
Kumudha Kumarachandran is an attorney in the Baltimore area. Kumudha is a member of the CHAI Board. She is a UMCP alumni as well as an AASU alumni, formerly serving on the Board as Vice President of Advocacy.
Olivia Chow
Olivia Chow is a progressive field and online organizer. At the moment she is an online organizer elevating stories of undocumented families in the immigration debate at Reform Immigration FOR America. She had other past lives leading “get out the vote” efforts with Obama for America-Nevada, running social media for the 2012 Democratic National Convention, and building community partnerships for civil rights advocacy at the Asian American Justice Center.
Razia Kosi
Razia F. Kosi, LCSW-C, Ms. Kosi currently works in the Howard County Public School System’s Office of Professional and Organizational Development as a Cultural Proficiency Specialist focusing on issues of equity and culturally proficient practices of educators. She is the founder of Counselors Helping (South) Asians/ Indians, Inc. (CHAI) a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and the South Asian community about mental health and wellness and conducting cultural competency workshops with mental health professionals. Ms. Kosi also created a model for Women’s Wellness groups that builds on the strengths on women while finding commonalities in themes of living between two cultures. She earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland and her Masters Certification in Teacher Supervision from Johns Hopkins University.
